 Moss Plastic Parts has introduced over 300 new products into its latest Hydraulic & Pneumatic Protection Catalogue, consolidating its position as Europe’s leading supplier of caps, plugs and hose protection products.
The catalogue sees the introduction of over 20 new stocked ranges, including Fire Protection Sleeving, O-Rings, Bonded Seals and Hose-Clamps. According to Managing Director Matthew Taylor “Not only have we introduced some great new products, but by diversifying our product offering Moss is now better placed to service a wider range of customer requirements within the fluid power industry”.
The new Hose Protector range is a unique product in the European market. The PVC shield provides cost-effective point-of-contact protection where hoses or cables are exposed to wear or are likely to rub, eliminating the need for full protective sleeving or guard.
Another new addition – Moss’ range of Fire Protection Sleeving – brings a unique quality product to the market. The products safeguard against flame, direct heat and liquid metal splashes. Unlike equivalent competing products, Moss’ Fire Protection Sleeving is manufactured using a high-performance calcium silicate yarn, which offers better fire protection properties and none of the handling risks associated with glass fibre products.
The new Caps and Plugs range features design improvements on existing products. Anti-Vibration Plugs have been specifically developed for BSP hydraulic fittings with a special notched thread to prevent them rattling loose. The large pull tab on the ranges of EVA pull-tab caps allows easier removal, and the HDPE threaded sealing caps feature a unique Nitrile disk, providing a seal at low pressures.
